MOCHA: WANTS TO CHANGE MANNY'S STAND ON RH BILL

MANILA, Philippines - Sexy dancer-singer Mocha Uson is willing to engage boxing superstar and Sarangani Cong. Manny Pacquiao in a public debate over the controversial reproductive health (RH) bill.

Mocha, who was guest in the ANC's The Rundown on Thursday, said she wants to enlighten the boxer-congressman about the good things the measure, if passed into law, can give to the poor.

“I want to convince him, open his mind that RH is not evil. It's good,” she said.

Mocha believes she can convince Pacquiao because he has a soft heart for poor people.

“He has a pure heart, mabait siyang tao, he's for the poor. At pag nalaman niyang na para sa mahihirap ito, mabago sana ang isip niya,” she said.

Pacquiao, a devout Catholic, has spoken up against the RH bill.

He recently engaged House Minority Leader Edcel Lagman, co-author of the RH bill, in a debate during the plenary interpellation on the measure.

The Sarangani congressman believes that the public should instead use natural family planning methods, particularly abstinence.
